Six years ago, I encountered homelessness and faced significant challenges in caring for my children, often experiencing periods of despair. However, witnessing the struggles of others ignited a profound sense of purpose within me. I dedicated myself to finding a means of assisting those in need, and this aspiration led to the establishment of Open Outreach Foundation. Our mission is to recognize that regardless of our individual circumstances or financial difficulties, we all possess the capacity to impart kindness, solace, and hope to others’ lives.
The Open Outreach Foundation is dedicated to assisting individuals in need by providing access to essential resources and empowering them to overcome life’s challenges. Our comprehensive services encompass a wide spectrum of needs, including food assistance, housing support, counseling, educational programs, job training, GED preparation, and financial guidance. Our mission is to foster the development of stronger and more resilient communities by equipping individuals and families with the tools and support necessary for stability, self-sufficiency, and personal growth.
We envision a community where no one feels forgotten and kindness is the foundation of connection. Through our programs, we aim to bring comfort, dignity, and hope to every person we serve.
Our first initiative is a Thanksgiving event where we will provide 100 individuals with warm meals, drinks, and hygiene kits. As we grow, we plan to expand into year-round programs that address both immediate needs and long-term support for those experiencing homelessness or hardship.
Whether you’re interested in volunteering, donating, or simply learning more about our organization, there are many ways to get involved with Open Outreach Foundation. We welcome individuals and groups of all backgrounds and experience levels to join us in making a difference.
